An actual zombie apocalypse created by an undead Digimon caused by humans illegally dumping dangerous substances into an area that Raremons were living in. It's like a showing illegal dumping no matter anywhere is a no no for it could not only harm the environment but any living creature that live there.

I like how Kyoshiro, Ruli, Angoramon, Jellymon, and Gammamon knew and was ready to kill RareRaremon except Hiro who didn't realize what they meant until Ruli pointed it out. The flashback of Bokomon's death and Angoramon forced to kill Digitamamon added to this part. This really adds to why Hiro asked his dad Hokuto about what to do with Digimon that can't be reasoned with because he most of all does not want to even consider killing as the last resort and wishes to avoid it entirely. In this case, it was the only option as RareRaremon is already an undead.

While it may have been short, this was the first use of teamwork from the team unleashing their Ultimate Evolutions and making full use of the roles their abilities have granted them. Thetismon cleansed the gas from RareRaremon giving him a debuff, Lamortmon as the berserker attacked from the front to deal physical damage exposing RareRaremon's weakness, and Canoweissmon dealing the final blow with his powerful aoe and hitting that weak point.

And here we have another example of a good episode in Ghost Game, not only we got to see all Ultras assembled but... damn, Rareraremon suffered a lot and I'm glad the group managed to put them out of their misery, it was a really rough choice and a grim reminder that death happens in this show... now if we can only get more episodes like this every single week...

Everyone from the team was ready to kill RareRaremon to put it out of its' misery except for Hiro who didn't pick up on that fact until Ruli pointed that out. This shows he is still apprehensive about it especially when you add that flashback into the mix.

He was apprehensive because of all the "killing" stuff, but he was quickly to catch up to the fact that they were going to do a huge favor to Rareraremon, so basically it means that killing it's always an option that the story will reserve for the most dire of situations... besides, Digimons are never truly dead in the sense of the world, they just return to a clean slate into a new life.

I just realized something, the last time GulusGammamon appeared and stopped Hiro from approaching him further and told him he's not ready yet before he returned to Gammamon. I think what Gulus meant by Hiro not being ready yet was saying Hiro has not yet realized some Digimon outright could not be reasoned with and they would either have to be killed or incapacitated and be sent back to the Digital World. Would Gulus be ready to allow Hiro to approach him now and even answer some questions he might have now is the question. Although I don't think Gulus will have all the answers Hiro is looking for.

Raremon finally got an evolution and it is horrifying. Genuinely horrifying.

Rare Raremon appeared in Adventure 2020 and now and he is disgusting in both universe.
But, here, I think his death is a bit sadder because in 2020 he was just plain evil.

It's unfortunately just how that show was. Apart from the initial half with Devimon and the standout bad episodes (of which there was unfortunately more than a few) 2020 was rather forgettable. Shame because I really liked how they did that first part (excluding the stuff with Eyesmon and blowing their Omegamon load early) and thought it was interesting how they weren't doing things exactly like the original. It then just got worse as the series went on and Millenniumon got one-shotted by a powered up WarGreymon, mostly off-screen, only for something else to be revealed as the true big bad (despite how much buildup was given to him by all those cuts to the Vadermon worshiping it in FAGA).

It's like a Dark Evolution... But even more putrid ! And it's still rotting !

Nice teamwork of three perfect level digimon. I like how they came to conclusion that Rare Raremon should be killed because he is, technically, already dead. Rare Raremon is really disgusting.

It was pleasantly sorrowful that we saw flashbacks of Bokomon's and Digitatamon's deaths.

Many of you complain because there isn't any plot going on, but honestly I am completely fine with this episodic show.

Next time, Taomon or Doumon. Taomon if there is misunderstanding. Doumon if he has evil intentions (Doumon from Xros wars is always frightening me).

We still don't know how many episode GG will have. We still have mysteries about Hiro's dad and Gulus Gammamon.
